In “Ring Around the Rosie,” Travis awakens in the middle of the night to find a strange presence in his closet and soon is unable to escape an endless loop in some otherworldly dimension.
Experimenting with motion-blur as a tool to create the feeling of a continuous shot, SimplyShocked wrote, produced, edited, and released this creepy short film on Halloween, 2020.
Desperate to escape, Travis chooses to continue to push forward into the unknown, chasing a mysterious figure through the loop and eventually into the depths of the strange apartment building. But when chasing a mystery, one should prepare themselves for misery.
Inspired by the nursery rhyme, “Ring Around the Rosie” is the first short film produced by SimplyShocked.
